determining best dosage with cbd is a process. achieving a therapeutic impact depends on the constitution of the person taking it and additionally conditions treated may determine the ideal strength or frequency of use. The effects of cbd are not always immediately evident, and variation occurs depending on whether an alcohol base (faster uptake, lower concentrations) or an mct oil base (slower uptake, higher concentrations) is used.
as a standard recommendation for our tinctures, we suggest that you begin experimenting to find your ideal dosage. start with 1/3 to 1/2 dropperful 2-3x daily of the strength you feel is most appropriate to your use. hold under tongue or in contact with cheeks for 10-20 seconds for optimal delivery. we recommend commencing at medium strength tinctures and adjusting dosage up/down to find the ideal therapeutic effect.

as an adjunct to our baseline dosage suggestion, we heartily recommend:
1- ensure you’re being consistent with amount taken for 2-3 days, especially if using an mct base, which can have slower onset. a common problem is not taking enough cbd and feeling zero effect as a result. don’t dismiss its impact, try increasing dose!
2- research anecdotal evidence online that may apply to any particular conditions treated (anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain). as regulations were slow to legalize cbd, scientific studies are not yet as comprehensive or available as they will be soon!
