It offers powerful antioxidant, immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory actions.Knotweed is an intriguing foil to tick season, as it is capable of “flushing” Lyme disease spirochetes from the body. It offers a high concentration of resveratrol, a unique polyphenol found to be useful in treating neurological symptoms of Lyme as well. Preclinical studies have revealed Knotweed’s levels of resveratrol can counteract cytokine cascade, one of the deadliest symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Last but hardly least, Maine’s abundant coastal bladder wrack seaweed is rich in iodine and anti-oxidants, bringing a nourishing, demulcent element to balance this blend. We round out the tincture with organic Maine maple syrup for a finish that’s as tasty as the tonic is good for you.

With our Viral Defense Tonic, we felt it best to create something new that complements our existing CBD hemp lineup, which we still emphatically recommend!
